Self-guided cycling > Cycling from Chateauneuf du Pape to the Pont du Gard aqueduct

"The self-guided cycling tour was a well-planned route. The sites were grand, the countryside beautiful. Would recommend this to anyone who loves cycling with a few climbs. All accommodations were well chosen and efficient.
What were the special highlights for you ? Avignon - palais du papes; the market, the bridge, the gardens. Wine tasting at cave de St. Charles in Chateauneuf du Pape, Uzes,  St. Quentin la poterie. Countryside as the wildflowers were in bloom: vineyards, jasmine, fig trees, wineries, apricot groves, etc. Les Baux Carriere de Lumieres, the village and chateaux. The climbs and descents. Pont du Gard, St. Remy. The entire journey was a highlight.
Definitely will recommend Walk Inn to friends. The cycling, the sites we visited and the countryside were spectacular. Hotels and restaurants were very well chosen. Weather was perfect each day. A few of the roadbook maps were somewhat confusing. We made some wrong turns, however, found our way to the correct route without cycling too far out of the way. Thank you for accommodating our trip! We will certainly refer our friends to Walk Inn Provence."

Guided walking > Provence: food, LUBERON, wine and the good life

" Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient. Worked hard to get delicious picnic lunches for us. Our guide was a delight! Our guide was the best!
The hikes were excellent with beautiful views and were just the right amount of challenge. All the restaurants were wonderful!
Would you recommend us to your friends: Yes, definitely!"

"There are not enough words to thank you for all your efforts to support our trip to Provence.  It was absolutely fabulous!  Definitely the best trip I have ever taken and that is not an exaggeration. Ariane was incredible.  So knowledgeable, so professional, and so much fun. I always knew she was concerned for our safety as well as concerned that we have a great time. She is a gem! Lovely hotels.  I want to live at Hotel du Poete.  Fabulous picnics and dinners.  So thank you again for all you did to create such wonderful memories for me.  I hope to return."

Self-guided Walking > Walk in the Luberon: medieval villages and hidden trails

"We were thrilled with all of our accommodations! So many times accommodations do not live up to the photos posted on line. Without exception all of the places we stayed met or EXCEEDED our expectations based on the photos. The extra walking distance to Maison Valvert was a bit concerning, as it is quite a distance from the center of the Bonnieux - but worth the walk. We took your recommendtion and ate at The Outsider in Gordes: one of the best meals we had in Provence, plus we loved that it is in an old water cistern.
We really enjoyed your points of interest such as the sun dial maker along one of our walks. We also really liked Buoux and Sivergues because they were exactly what we were wanting to see - cobblestone villages unspoiled by tourism. We also really enjoyed exploring the Roman fort at Buoux and 'discovering' the secret staircase that reminded us of scenes of Mordor from the movie Lord of the Rings. Saignon was a favorite too - so picturesque and authentic - we even saw a game of bocce ball being played in the town park.
would you recommend us to your friends ? Yes, yes yes!!!!"

Self-guided Cycling > Cycling from Van Gogh's Provence to the Luberon

" Jardin d'Ivana - superb Provencal food, lovely hosts. Hotel Boquier - lovely, kind host, recommend that a screen be put on the window of the room we were in as mosquitoes were very bad. Philippe - you bike man -  has been great. I got a flat tire, fortunately in Cavaillon, it was cold and drizzling, I was sick, and Philippe came to the rescue immediately to change the tube. We both thank him for his kindness from the bottom of our hearts. With our own bikes we can change flats, but we were a bit concerned about the ebikes. Ebikes were very high quality, and given that I was very sick, I couldn't have done the trip without them. I have done many cycling/hiking trips in France and Europe and felt that a company that was based where we were cycling would have better information, and you did. The route book was excellent, only a couple of suggestions to help with that.
Would you recommend us to your friends ? Absolutely to both questions - we were only sorry that we hadn't chosen a longer cycling trip. Thank you and our best wishes for your summer season."

Self-guided Walking > Walk from Van Gogh's landscapes to the Luberon

We absolutely loved our walking experience. We did find the walks more interesting as we progressed. We enjoyed all the walks but preferred the ones in the Luberon. We loved our walk from LaCoste to Bonnieux being picked up at Les Seguins, and loved the walk from Bonnieux to I’isle sur La Sourgue. All aspects of Walk Inn were fantastic. We want to go back to do more in Provence next spring.
We really enjoyed all our accommodations. The BB Villa de Margot a lovely way to start . Hotel Sous les Figuiers was fabulous - owners were very warm , welcoming , and helpful. Fabulous breakfast including freshly made crepes. Beautiful room withh veranda overlooking the garden. BB Balcons du Luberon was so charming- owner Etienne was fantastic - we loved the fabulous dinner he cooked. Great pool. B. de Capelongue incredible. Great view. Great food. Loved Bonnieux. Grand Hotel Henri- elegant old France style.
We will definitely travel with you again. We really appreciated when we called to ask you to contact our taxi to pick us up earlier than planned, that you promptly did so. Would you recommend us to your friends ? Absolutely. Every aspect was fantastic. The whole trip was delightful. We were very late in planning it and you certainly delivered a fabulous experience. The choice of accommodations was just lovely. A fabulous experience !"

Self-guided Cycling > Cycling from Chateauneuf du Pape to the Pont du Gard aqueduct

" Many thanks for a well organised trip. Especially kind of you to get the saddle changed - it made all the difference. The hotels and bikes were good, we loved the routes and we had excellent meals throughout. The highlights for us were: Palais des Papes, Theatre in Orange, riding through the vineyards above Chateauneuf, the town of Uzès and the welcome from Elizabeth, Pont du Gard, Glanum and many lovely meals. Our bike contact was very helpful and sorted out our one problem with saddles very quickly and efficiently - thank you."

Self-guided Walking > Luberon walking: short and sweet

" I wanted to let you know our walk went very well, the directions were great and we enjoyed the whole time we spent in the Luberon! BB La Borie and L' outsider restaurant were both exceptional! A bonus with Hotel Nevons was how close it was to an excellent bakery/patisserie! The breakfast at both locations was also excellent. All the "hill towns" were wonderful, as predicted, but we were a bit surprised that Isle sur la sorgue was so wonderful as well - we figured it would be mostly just a hotel stop but the riverfront was enjoyable and fun at night. I would easily recommend you to my friends! Thanks again for your help, if we come up with more details we will be in touch."

Self-guided Walking > Walk from Van Gogh's landscapes to the Luberon

"The roadbook notes were generally excellent!  The Fort De Buoux was fascinating. Should not be missed but needs at least 1 hour for planning purposes. The recommended exit stairs are NOT what I would recommend. Your recommendations were excellent, as were your suggestions to have advance reservations! The restaurant Édouard Loubet was truly memorable and worth every penny. Thank you again for your good work making our trip so wonderful ! We gave you and your team high high praise."

Self-guided Walking > Hiking from the Mercantour Southern Alps to the French Riviera trails

" The walk between st martin and sospel was so beautiful and interesting. St Yves accommodation was very poor on terms of beds and room but the bathroom was beautifully renovated. The host was warm and gracious. Thank goodness we were warned about the bedroom. The agency assistance was superb. It was very special : thank you for providing such a personalized service. It was wonderful. We felt well supported and were most appreciative of this. This aspect alone will bring us back to you to do another walking adventure."

"Great accommodation, great service with provision of great food. Each was different and interesting (accomodations). Not for faint of heart or the 'occasional' walker - some of the days are tough - but offer incredible views and great rewards when your destination is reached. Would you travel again with Walk Inn, and would you recommend us to your friends ? Yes"

Self-guided Walking > Walk in the Luberon: medieval villages and hidden trails

"The two restaurants included in the package were both terrific. Gordes was terrific and, of course, since it is perched above the village the views are fabulous and the garden welcoming. In Bonnieux, the hotel is simply fabulous. We had a great time and I loved it.  But, it is a fairly vigorous itinerary and, I suspect, not for everyone".

"All of the places we stayed had great people running them and the rooms were lovely. The beds were great which is important after a day of walking. We enjoyed all of the food (and the wine!!) in the Luberon. We only wish we could find that here at home! Yes if we can find the right trip and we would recommend you."
