Morocco: a wonderful team building experience!

After a year of hard work, making sure that all our clients were happy with our services and creating new tours in the best hiking and cycling destinations, we went the past week-end to Morocco! A team building and relaxing experience across the Mediterranean, in the first heights of the Atlas! Located at only 45mins away from Marrakesh, in a comfortable eco-lodge, we started by doing some zipline, just a few hours after we had landed in the Moroccan capital. A thrilling and scary experience which pushed some members of the team to their furthest limit: indeed, the highest and longest zipline allows you to cross a gorge at a 120metres high!

After a tiring and overwhelming day – only for some – we enjoyed a famous Tajine and went to bed!

The ecolodge is a place where both international visitors and locals spend time together thanks to its many services and activities! A great experience altogether!

Saturday morning, after a tremendous breakfast, we went on a bike ride on the Atlas that allowed us to discover the incredible natural beauty of this area of Morocco, although it was quite challenging as not everybody had E-bikes!

The afternoon was one of the highlights of our trip together as we headed to Marrakesh for a visit in the famous Souk! Wandering in this everlasting maze was quite an experience as it allowed us to meet local people, understand how this endless market functions and discover some great local products and produce: Argan oil, Raz el Hanout, Moroccan mint tea, musk fragrance!

As we kept on walking in the souk, heading to one of the best hidden restaurants of the capital, we arrived at was seemed a usual narrow street. Little was our surprise when we crossed the door to arrive in what was the restaurant: a riad! The opportunity to enjoy a wonderful night out, together, tasting local cuisine made of savoury Briouates, Couscous and Tajines!

The final day in Morocco was the opportunity for to us to enjoy an exceptional hike with a local guide, Abdel Jalim, that took us around some of the most impressive valleys of the area of the Atlas we were at, and the through some local villages where we were able to understand what made the daily life of the inhabitants.

An early departure and flight back home to conclude this beautiful walking and cycling experience in the Atlas and Marrakesh!
