If you are into cycling Provence should be on your bucket list! Thanks to the Mont Ventoux, one of the most feared stage of the Tour de France, Provence has become a top destination if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind type of challenge. With an average gradient of 7% and some stages at nearly 11% going up to the top of the Giant of Provence is not for the faint-hearted! Reaching the top and enjoying the exceptionnal 360° view is a reward worth challenging yourself for! 

With many hills and mountains, but also some smooth and flat areas, Provence is a wonderful destination that will suit beginners and experienced cyclist!

Provence is certainly one of the top destination when you think of the French cuisine: thanks to its year round sunshine making the fruits sweeter, Provence is famous for its outstanding wines, with the most famous wines being the Chateauneuf and Côte du Rhône wines, its wonderful gastronomy based on fruits, vegetables, fish and olive oil. When travelling a very important aspect is discovering the culture, customs and food and you can  be sure that if you come to Provence, you will definitely be in for a treat!
