Stuart, Walk Inn Provence guide

Stuart Sommers
Stuart grew up in Canada and worked as a teacher in a French Immersion school before arriving in Provence, and becoming a real specialist of the region.
One of only a handful of “foreigners” to successfully pass the French mountain guiding diploma, few paths of Provence are a mystery to him.
Stuart prides himself on his gourmet Provençal picnics and après-hike activities like pétanque, and wine tasting.
In July and August you can find Stuart on the island of Madeira, guiding French groups along the trails.

Mariska, walking guide in Provence

Mariska Mourik
An avid mountain climber, certified paragliding instructor and professional filmer and writer, Mariska alternates periods of writing with travels, outdoor sports and guiding. In 1984 she joined the Dutch National Everest expedition as a radio reporter and camerawoman, and climbed 150 meters short of the top. The daughter of a Dutch diplomat, Mariska has been submerged in different languages and cultures all her life.
Home is currently the South of France, where, between writing and sharing her passions as a guide, she is renovating an old stone house in an abandoned hamlet.

Pierre, hiking guide in Provence

Pierre Luneau
Pierre studied at a renowned art school in Paris before joining his brother in his ceramic workshop; Pierre would spend his Friday nights driving his Citroen Deux-chevaux 700 kilometers across France to the Alps, for a weekend of extreme climbing, before driving back again for Monday morning eight o' clock. Later in life he decided to leave clay and earthenware for what it was, to take off into the airs. As a certified paragliding instructor he turns his pupils into birds.
But he lands from time to time to walk the paths of southern France and share his passion for wild flowers, history, travels and storytelling.

Coralie, Walk Inn hiking guide

Coralie Goussot
A native of the Southern Alps, Coralie lives between the spectacular mountain ranges of Mercantour and Verdon in Provence. She previously worked as a journalist for the French public radio, but after 6 years spent all around France, she decided to go back to her mountains.
Every summer, she can be found on the paths of Corsica, and come winter she is in the Alps, guiding with snowshoes. If not traveling in Nepal or Morocco, she enjoys sharing the beauties of her region with foreigners.
Coralie's areas of expertise include history, literature, flora, and cooking with the plants she finds along the way.
