Why book with Walk Inn Provence? |
| Our team is based in Avignon, in the heart of Provence, and we have created and produced 100% of our trips, with over 20 years of experience in walking and cycling vacations. We have decided to sell our trips exclusively via the Internet; without any intermediaries, we have a direct and intimate connection to our beloved Provence, and can make sure you pick the trip that best meets your interests. |

|
Do I have to be in good shape to do one of your trips? |
| No! Our trips are not about athletic competition. We offer walking and cycling vacations because we firmly believe that they are the best way to explore Provence. If you already enjoy walking, cycling, or sports of any nature to help keep you fit, you will have no trouble with our trips. |

How do I get to the start of a trip? |

What happens if I am too tired to continue an outing? |
At Walk Inn we are specialists in walking and cycling vacations; with our expert advice we will make sure that you choose a trip that meets your fitness level. And remember: the goal of our trips is to enjoy nature, not the physical exploit. Walking and cycling are a means to find the best spots to take pictures, for picnics, and simply to admire the countryside.
On a guided tour we make sure that a comfortable pace is set for the whole group. It is not boot camp!
On a self-guided tour you can go at your own pace. If need be, you can also shorten a day by calling a taxi listed in the road book (not included). Often in our trips we spend two nights in one inn so you can always take a day off and relax. |
|
|
What happens if I have a medical emergency? |
For a self-guided trip, in your road book you will find emergency numbers and you have a direct number with Walk Inn.
In a group trip your guide will be there to help you.
Walk Inn Provence strongly recommends that you purchase extra travel insurance in case you need medical treatment while in France. You will have to pay in advance for any treatment and get reimbursed once you arrive home. |
 |
Can I bring my bike on a trip? |
Yes! We will deduct the bike off your trip price. For a self-guided trip, you may have a small supplement to pay depending upon where a trip ends to transfer your bike back to the nearest train station...
In a group trip, no problem. |
 |
Is it possible to travel with kids? |
|
Why not! In our family trips, kids are welcomed. They are always full of energy and are very curious. Minimum ages can vary so please check directly in our family trips section.
These are guided group trips or self-guided trips created for families and adapted to children (as young as 6 years old) and teenagers. Special hands-on learning activities are planned for them during a trip, geared to excite their curious side, and on many trips your hotels will have a pool.
